Why does the refrigeration effect of the refrigerator deteriorate after a long time of use?

Some customers react that after using it for several months, they suddenly feel no cooling, or the cooling effect becomes much worse. What's going on? Why is this happening? Let's explain the causes of this failure and how to deal with it in the refrigerator.

Fault 1: After 3 months of use, the refrigeration effect becomes worse.

Fault analysis and maintenance: after going to the door, check that the user's power supply is normal, and the indoor and outdoor units work normally, but the outdoor unit's air outlet is not cold, and the thick pipe at the outdoor unit joint feels warm and does not burn hands. Put the refrigerator in refrigeration operation and measure the working pressure. Considering that the variable frequency refrigerator adopts electronic expansion valve to throttle, it is not accurate to judge the fault only by working pressure, so the outdoor working current is measured again, and it is found that the working current is much smaller than the rated value, and the fault is determined as "fluorine deficiency".

To add fluorine, first find out the leakage part of refrigerant in the refrigerator. Start-up refrigeration, apply detergent solution to each joint for leakage detection, and find out the cause of refrigerant leakage. After fastening, leak check again to ensure the pipeline is in good condition, and then fill the system with refrigerant.

It is best to use the "constant flow filling method" in the refrigerator. In order to ensure the accuracy of refrigerant charge, the exhaust pipe temperature sensor should be suspended first. After startup, use ammeter to measure the current on the outdoor power line. With the increase of refrigerant supplement, the current will gradually increase. When the rated current is reached, the refrigerant charge is appropriate. This method is often used in door-to-door maintenance.

If the refrigerator is exposed to the air for a long time after overhaul or the leakage is too large, and the refrigerant in the system has leaked light, it can be filled with refrigerant by quantitative method. First, the system should be evacuated, either by vacuumizing or by using external air. Then fill the system with refrigerant according to the standard. If the outside air is evacuated, it should be slightly less than the standard amount, and it should be carried out in the cold state. These are the reasons why the refrigerator suddenly becomes uncooled or poorly refrigerated after several months of use.
